British Show Horse Association (BSHA)

(Full Member)

The Association is dedicated to promoting the breeding and showing of Hacks, Cobs, Maxi Cobs, Riding Horses and HOYS Hunters.

Shows throughout the country, at all levels, hold BSHA Affiliated classes with both Amateur and Open sections; there is usually something for every Competitor.

The BSHA positively encourages young riders to participate in their classes, the entry age being 15 years old. There is a “Rising Stars” final at the BSHA National Championships Show and at all BSHA Affiliated Open Classes the highest placed ‘Young Rider’ receives a special rosette throughout the year, in addition to the Amateur Rider and Novice (horse) awards.

The Association runs a series of shows including the very popular BSHA National Championships, their own Judges' Conference, Conformation Training Workshops and Probationary Judges scheme. There is also a very active social media presence online so please take a look.
